Our trucks have become a local favorite, bringing diverse menus and authentic flavors to festivals, neighborhoods, and private events alike. Each brand reflects our passion for food and commitment to excellence.
The Kush Restaurant
Our growth also extends beyond the road. The Kush Restaurant offers guests a welcoming, sit-down experience where the spirit of our food trucks meets the warmth of a neighborhood gathering place. With the same dedication to freshness, authenticity, and hospitality, the restaurant is a natural extension of our mission to share memorable meals with the community.
CHEF ALI
Chef Ali’s culinary journey began in Sudan along the Blue Nile, where he learned to cook by his mother’s side, preparing traditional stews, dips, and falafel. His path has taken him across the world — from Syria and Egypt to Thailand and Denmark — each country shaping his skills and deepening his love for food. In Thailand, he founded Abu Layla, named after his daughter, before settling in the United States with his wife, whose Louisiana Creole heritage adds another layer of flavor to their family story.
Today, Chef Ali brings together his Sudanese roots and international experiences to create bold, memorable dishes through the Kush and Blue Nile trucks, as well as the Kush Restaurant. His mission is simple: to share food that connects cultures, tells a story, and brings people together.
